We first came to know about this unbelievably wonderful Yuen Method that Geetha does when we approached her for my son’s eczema. Since then, we run to Geetha for almost every crisis. Saurabh’s eye condition was one such situation. Saurabh has a rare eye condition called Eales Disease. Its exact cause is not known and there is no known cure. The condition causes inflammation in the capillaries of the eyes, causing them to rupture and bleed. The clots formed leads to foggy vision. Over time, it can affect the eyesight permanently. Whenever there would be episodes of capillary rupture and bleeding, Saurabh would know as his vision would get foggy. We would need to go to our eye specialist who would do a laser to seal the ruptures and trap the bleeding. Repeated lasers are not desirable as they carry their own risk, but there was no other option.
In Dec 2013, when Saurabh had a fresh bleeding episode, we thought of Geetha. Geetha did her sessions and Saurabh could see his vision improve. This happened again in March 2014 and now July 2015. Every time, Geetha did her sessions and we avoided a laser. This last episode was quite severe, so much so that even while Geetha was doing her sessions, we took a retino-specialist’s appointment at NUH, which was scheduled two days later. All the while, Geetha kept doing her intensive sessions, Saurabh saw dramatic improvement. By the time we were supposed to see the Dr, Saurabh’s vision was again normal but we went ahead with the appointment in any case. We were stunned to hear the Dr found NO evidence of any bleeding, or even inflammation.
We are extremely relieved Geetha has always stepped in and helped us come out of complicated medical situations.
